i doubt we will see a D&F tour... just doesnt make too much since. If anything, i bet we would see a winter DMB tour pushing some new stuff instead of a D&T .... but i would love to to see dave and tim on stage once more. As for the warehouse comments earlier, i have been a member for 3 years and get excellent seats to every show i request. I actually havent been denied yet even for D&T last year (at miami of ohio). They gave me 5th row once, and the worst has been about 25 rows.

Tim likes doing D&T, and I believe he liked doing D&F (I believe fluffy said so). He has done D&T last year, then D&T right before each D&F date, and then did the D&F sets.
This guy does more stuff than with Dave. No offense, but I see people all the time thinking, "why doesn't Tim tour with Dave anytime soon," and I just get annoyed (no offense). You have to realize, that Dave is not his main work, it's a side thing for Tim, not #1 on his list. Tim does tons of his own stuff. He tours, records, and tons of other shit of his own. Dave & Tim will eventuay get back together, but when they both feel it is right. Again as well, D&T isn't Dave's #1 priority, DMB is.

It really is a scheduling conflict all the time. As I was saying in one of my posts in another thread, DMB and Tim Reynolds are both TOURING acts, as well as recording. If you and a friend are both on tour doing your own thing, are you really going to expect one of you to cancel a tour to go play on the other's tour? Not unless you're Neil Young.
It's not like Tim just sits by the phone waiting for Dave to call him. When they're schedules allow for it, they speak about doing a tour or whatever. But as long as Tim is in the studio, or on tour, he probably won't be joining DMB, Dave, or Dave and Friends on the road.
I just love how when there is a long time between a D&T or DMB & Tim tour, people start speculating that they had some big falling out and will never play again. Good stuff.

also right now i dont think its daves. tim has been touring constantly all year, and hes gonna want a break. dave has been touring allot, and if they arent finishing the album up in the winter, then hes gonna need a rest, since another tour to promote the album is right around the corner. i would love a d+t but might not happen this year.TurnItToLove wrote:exactly, thats what Fluffy says, he likes it, its just not his main priorityRanting Thespian wrote:Tim likes doing D&T, and I believe he liked doing D&F (I believe fluffy said so). No, trey cant shine in a 2 guitar setting (especially acoustic) they way tim can. Trey is a jamband player, of course hes got the talent to branch out, but Tim tops him in versatility. Plus he has a lot more "wow factor" imodustin wrote:what would be cool is if dave and trey from phish did something like dave and tim do. i wonder if that could work and sound great.
