tell me what to buy people

when it comes to taylors it all comes down to which sound you like the most. I own a 514 and a 710. One is mahogany, one is east indian rosewood. Two completely different sounds (especially since the 514 has a ceder top), but you gotta just try a bunch and see which one you prefer. You might like the sound of a 400 series more then a 800 series.. you never know.

Go to as many stores as you can, play everything you see. something will talk to you. it'll say "dude, i'm your guitar, i feel better than all the other ones you've tried, and you know it." and you WILL know it. its like love. haha.

but if you are gonna go with a taylor, i'd have to say the X14s have the best body shape. that's just my opinion, but i'm not the only one. its all about preference. go try everything!

People worshiping Taylors (shane) get's old. Don't bothor ask for opinions on guitars here chances are it will be TAYLOR TAYLOR TAYLOR/MARTIN.

first off, youll notice i listed a bunch of brands. second off, i dont 'worship' Taylors. Taylors are some of my favorite guitars, so when people ask thats what i tell them.

if you like something, a lot, am i right to say you worship it?

you might not talk about a certain video game you might like or whatever, but this is a guitar forum. the subject comes up more.

so, if you think people 'worshiping' Taylors gets old, then people criticizing opinions (you) is even worse.

adamondo, don't even say you hate people preaching about taylors. Just don't fucking read the threads that taylors are mentioned in. It's not a big deal. People voice their opinions openly here, it's not a big deal if shane really likes taylors. I really like martins, i say it a lot, i really like many brands that i mention a lot, just let it go. There is no reason for an outburst on here on taylor lovers. They're beautiful guitars, let it go.

there isnt a thing wrong with praising a certain guitar company. you think maybe the reason taylors and martins are talked about so much is because they are very nice high quality guitars. its one thing if someone preteneds nothing else exists but you cant fault someone for liking a very good guitar and mentioning it (or numerous people for that matter)
