Bonner Springs was awesome!

The show last night kicked ass! Here was the setlist:

#41
Satellite
The Stone
Ants Marching
Typical Situation
Grey Street
Crazy-Easy
Hello Again
Where Are You Going
Dancing Nancies
Warehouse
Crash Into Me
One Sweet World
Sugar Will
Joy Ride
Too Much
Encore:
Don't Drink the Water
Everyday

I liked the show even more than the opener at UMB. We were surrounded by a ton of cool people who were totally into the music, which is a nice change of pace at a concert. We had 10th row tickets, so we were right down in front which gave me a chance to watch Dave's hands during the new tunes.

The band played with a TON of energy. Dave broke 2 or 3 strings during the show. He mainly played the Taylor 914's, but brought out the Walnut Jumbo for Grey Street.

I had a great time! Now hopefully Dave and Tim will come to town after the band finishes touring.

Well anyway, back to work, just thought you guys might like a show review.

I don't like the Everyday encores that much. But that is an amazing set elsewise. Damn...

yeah I agree, seems like a low, chill way to end a show compare to other closers, but that set does look pretty damn sweet nonetheless

Yeah, I thought the show was phenominal. Had a real cool jam for Typical Situation which it sounded like they went into "the Ritz." I was a bit disappointed by the close but the setlist was awesome as well as the first 5 songs.

I kinda liked the chill set closer. Less road rage in the parking lot afterwards. :)

The show was a Tripping Billies away from perfection. I really like the way the new stuff is coming together. Everything was much tighter than at the opener at UMB. Some of the jams were just incredible!

I'm jealous, you got #41 and Ants. Those were the only two missing for me at Riverbend. Ants would have been a great closer!

It is pretty slow and I think it will take some time before I get used to it. I will admit that the version they played at Bonner Springs was a lot better than the version that was played on Sunday at Alpine Valley. All I got to say is that Hello Again Rocks and finally I got to hear Warehouse live. It would have been a perfect show if we could have replace WAYG, too much, and sugar will and traded them with Halloween, Watchtower, and Two Step. I better not get too greedy. Overall one of the better setlists I have seen live.
