I'm looking for an electric guitar (up to 1000$).
A friend of mine recommended my to buy an epiphone...
so do you guys have any suggestions?

I'd suggest Godin or Gibson. Just play a lot of them and see what you like

Gibson Les Paul Studio

I got mine for 950 bucks, brand new. Great guitar, great price, and will last you a lifetime (and it's Gibson, so you know it's quality).

ive never played an SD, but ive never heard one bad thing about any Godin. :)

Custom Godin SDxt for me.

I'd go with either Godin or G&L, which is what I say everytime. G&L has Fender beat on their strats.
