Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": I'm thinking about getting metal legs. It's a risky operation, but it'll be worth it.

i should be getting a mic soon, and i plan on recording one of my new favorite verses ive just learned. theres a part during the song where the electric comes in over the acoustic and plays the same thing and it sounds awesome. how do you do that?

multi-track recording...or there is a way to keep one thing playing while you play a solo, like a loop effect. of course, tim reynolds does this a lot
I can't believe that we would lie in our graves wondering if we had spent our living days well, and I can't believe that we would lie in our graves dreaming of things that we might have been...

Couldn't you just record the main guitar part, hook up some headphones and play it back...then just play in to the mic "real time" and record it. Overlay it and Viola! My musiciany roomate does this al the time
My "gitter" was my best investment
