So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

took a look at it and it looks incredibly easy. theres just so much thats left out by only getting the first few words of each section. most of it seems to be the -577-- powerchord (standard tuning) ... :|

I wouldnt ever play that song in drop d, its not how it is supposed to be played and lacks so much power and emotion in standard tuning. Plus, how hard is it to turn your low e string down real quick, not hard at all.

Is it just me or did you just make it sound like you wouldn't tune down to a Drop D for the song at the same time not play it in standard tuning either lol ?

yeah that song is so sweet in drop d. you can bang the hell out of it here and there and make it awesome. at my level of playing/singing, this one is easy but it doesnt sound good. when i sing now, i lose half my volume and push/intensity. it sounds way off. that is my big singing problem but ddtw is a real good starter for singing. its such a bad song.

I'll drink to that :) and I'll drink to drop D for DDTW and Bartender and Space Between :o which is the tab I submitted to this site. makes sense since the lowest note played in that song by Dave is the that bass D note (bass G note on the baritone)
good, and you?

Good to see some other people on here like to enjoy a beer or 12 every now and then. And yes drop D does kick ass, as well as ddtw, bartender and any thing else related to playing guitar and drinking.
