id recommend save up even more and buy a gibson... or you can buy a godin.

i can honestly say my godin sounds better than a les paul. seymour duncans own.

If you get this, be prepared to eventualy save up and trade in the epi with money for a gibson. Don't just buy new pickups and put it in, the wood in the gibsons are built stronger and with more care.

I'd save up and get something like this if you really want a Les Paul:

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/sid ... id/517536/

Or do what I did and decide to wait until you're rich and famous to get a Les Paul and go with this:

I highly reccomend the strat, don't listen to what those "fender sucks" bitches say.

american fenders are OK, its the other 70% of fenders products made in mexico that suck, a US strat isnt bad, but id prefer vintage US if i were buyin one.

EDIT: BTW, my friend who is die-hard fender, has a strat, amazing guitarist agrees with me, a US fender is good, the other 70% of fenders stuff is shit to us.

epiphones arent bad at all

as long as you take decent care of it, it will stay in good shape

of course the gibson would be better, but the epi would be an awesome low price alternative

film dude, you cant bash low end fenders when you plan on getting a lower than low-end gibson
