Similarities between Joy Ride and Rapunzel

My brother hadnt listened to dmb in months and when i showed him Joy Ride saying "Look, a new song!"
He said...


" Is'nt that Rapunzel?"

And he started singing the lyrics to rapunzel to JOYRIDE!

i have a habit of playing my A shape barre chords by just playing the second bar. so a C might look like xx555x instead of x35553 or whatever. it's my style of making that chord.

and dave definately has specific things he does when he makes his chords or when he makes up riffs. we all do.

but to be honest, if he wants to be considered a "good" guitarist, even just a good rhythm guitarist, he's gonna have to break out of this soon. cuz it's starting to get a bit repetitve. but for now he's still doing good and exploring his current style.

maybe they should reinvent the band with dave on mandolin or something.
