I have a real player, your system doesn't allow for that yet. (shrug)

you should be able to click the down arrow on the right and download the mp3...i'm pretty sure mp3s are compatible with real player but who knows, i could be wrong.

the song has a slightly unique mellow edge to it, i think the thing that may save it is the tenor of the vocals. You use a neat energy here when singing, that sets it apart from that standard strum & lyric kind of sound that is typically going on here.

I cant really hear the lyrics cuz of the streaming quality, but overall i think that they sound on key and work pretty good with the song. I think you may want to try to get something else going on with that guitar for the track 'day apart'

overall it's a decent listen, nothing that stands out to me though.

couple parts sound like the changes in "how to disappear completely" by radiohead and the vocals remind me of tom waits on "a perfect day" i like it alot though it give me this lull sort of feeling listening to it. good stuff.

that's funny... that's one of the only radiohead songs i don't listen much to... i haven't gotten that album yet. thanks everybody
here's the lyrics to those songs if i was mumblin:
a day apart

can you tell me how a day goes on without the sun?
can you tell me how my life's supposed to be now that your gone?
can you tell me how to feel when i roll over and you're not there?
cuz i'm feelin pretty low, so can you tell me not to care?
i'm already fallin apart and it's only been a day
and your pictures break my heart but i can't throw them away
and tears roll down my cheeks, and i've lost my sense of time
and the hours roll by like days ever since you became not mine

if i'd loved you any more, do you think you would've came?
i was scared to death to tell you but i felt it just the same
you walked into my life but you ran into my heart
and i'll never tell you right but i hope this is a start
your lips--they take my breath, your eyes--they steal my soul
and before you left, your love--it made me whole
and tears roll down my cheeks, and i'm falling out of line
and i'm longing for the day that you can become mine

blindsided

hold up, look out, you know you're out door
in just a few days
i know what i'm lookin for

tunnel vision's got you lookin straight ahead
but watch out, here she comes
you've been blindsided

not gonna worry about it
not gonna worry about it
where she goes
i'm not gonna worry about it

lie around, see the town, check it out and see the view
she won't know what hit her when she comes to

but look out, tunnel vision's got you lookin ahead
you let your guard down for a second and got blindsided

not gonna worry about it
not gonna worry about it
where she goes
i'm not gonna worry about it

i've been walking alone
and she comes while i'm not home
and we're both wondering whether to commit

but i'm not gonna worry about it
not gonna worry about it
where she goes
i'm not gonna worry about it

if i go

if i go
would you wait
would you wait
for me

if you want
i can be
anywhere at all
all you gotta do is say

if i'd gone
you would be
you would be
alone

Good sound and everything. The only suggestion is lowering the key about half a step. Its too high for your voice, it was sqeaking a little. When you go high like that if its within your range you should be able to still be able to get a full sound and you sort of quieted down a bit, if you understand what im trying to say. Good song!
