Might have paid too much but frankly I don't care :)

The guitar is in perfect condition, the action is sweet as hell, and it sounds AWESOME.

Due to a stupid "Pawn Shop" law I can't take it home from the store for a month (to prevent stolen items from being sold/pawned). As soon as I do, I'll take pics.

It has no electronics and Taylor wants $500 for install of an ES in it ... Uhh, no? And it's in the sound hole and not the bridge ... Uhh, again, no.

:)

Yeah, I have a Matrix Natural I in my LoPrinzi dreadnought ... I was thinking of a Natural II for the 912.

Anyone have opinions?

Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": I'm thinking about getting metal legs. It's a risky operation, but it'll be worth it.

do you like the loprinzi more than the 912? loprinzi is based just a few miles from my house.

They are totally different guitars ... I like the LoPrinzi a lot. It's a dread though and when playing Dave's stuff it's just not right for it.

However it sounds beautiful and is very rich and deep.

If I had to have one guitar though, it would be a 912ce/914ce.

If you guys missed it, he said it is different, as in, not the same as normal dreads. Dave has a certain sound from his martin that is hard to obtain with other brand guitars

Oh, you know, you're right, he is. I didn't realize you made that post..hah

anyway, what he's saying is a dread should sound like dave's stuff, but like I said, you basicly need a martin to get daves sound with a dread

Well my LoPrinzi doesn't sound like Dave's Martin and Dave doesn't even play the GD thing now does he? He's a Taylor guy ... So the fact that he played one several years ago matters about as much as if he wears boxers instead of briefs :)

hey now i may not let celebrities influence my nonexistant political views, or plenty of other things, but if theres one thing that i find out about celebrities is boxers or briefs. i need to know. whoever my favorite artist is, whatever he (or even she) wears is what i wear.

sike... yall probably couldve guessed.
