8/07/04 SUPER FREAK

Unread post by HendrixWS » Sun Aug 08, 2004 2:47 am

It was great just got out of the show in WI. 2 1/2 - 3 hour trip for me but it was worth it. He debuted a cover of Super Freak in the recent passing of Rick James. Also, at the end of Too Much he did some Chapelle style What? YEAH OK. It was hilarious. 41, Stone, and Typical were fuckin phenominal. Great show. Check it out.

I was there, it was just outstanding. I think it wasn't their best flowing setlist, but the energy and joy was all in them, and they just gave me one hell of a time. I was shocked by the Super Freak, the IBYU, the long #36 outro, and the Typical Situaitons and Warehouse encore. Just outstanding.

It was awesome. They did two verses maybe or a verse and chorus, it was tight. Then he did the Chappelle shit. Good times.
