Toughest Acoustic Songs to cover

Unread post by tbevjtr » Wed Aug 04, 2004 10:20 am

Hey guys what do you think are some of the most difficult acoustic songs to play? Not necessarily sing with. Im looking to expand my playing past most of Dave's stuff and I'm looking for some cool songs to play...lemme know

its always kinda tough to play "electric" stuff on acoustic. pick up some jimi hendrix and play around /w that. little wing is highly recognizable and also hard to make sound desent on acoustic. a good challenge.

Mayer can't even say he's perfected that on acoustic. He wrote it on a Norvax (sp?) guitar that has fanned frets to make it easier to fret. Mayer I find to be real tough. He uses his thumb a lot to fret and I have small thumbs.
