Fishman Rare Earth vs. Matrix....opinions?

Fishman Rare Earth vs. Matrix....opinions?

Just wondering what peoples thoughts are on these two. Anyone ever tried both? I know one is a piezo and one is a soundhole pick-up so I expect there to be a difference, however, it's the Rare Earth (soundhole) that costs more than the Matrix....what's up with that? I thought soundhole pick-ups were inferior.

i thought the matrix was both piezo and soundhole....making it a nice pickup...but i may be waaaaayyyyy off...i don't know too much about that stuff
