can someone please give me some tips on playing the "first small jam" as its called in the tab. it just doesnt seem to flow.

try to get an acoustic version of it. its easy to tell how it goes.

Thank you so much guys! I guess it was finally time to register here with this post. That was the only part in the song that I couldn't get down quite right. But once again thank you so much. Hope to be able to help other people out and learn from other people also on the boards.

Welcome Joshua! Glad you've joined us. :D You will indeed learn alot here, both from the tabs and the great group of people on these boards. Check out the Recording and Critiquing section; that is where I have found that I have learned the most...just by listening to how so many of the talented people here play Dave.

Search the posts for the LIOG jam...I think Jason (dmbfanjason) posted a very good example of this...that's how I learned it.

Glad I could help, if anyone needs help with any other songs let me know. It only takes a few minutes to record something and Im normally sitting around playing guitar anyways.
