i need a woman cover and an original-live

Unread post by juineaux » Sat Jul 31, 2004 11:52 am

Me and two of my friends played a show a few weeks ago and I just got the recording of it today. My favorite song that we did is called secratiat(I need a woman) by Jeff Foucault. If you havent heard of him you should definately check him out. Anyways tell me if you like it or what we should work on-

I love your voice, Tom, but I've said that countless times. Too lazy to critique, but great stuff as always. :) By the way, what have you been using to record your live stuff?

thanks, my friend(the other guy singing) records all the live stuff. He just uses a minidisk recorder/player and takes it out of the mixing board of where ever we're playing-

INCREDIBLE.

I know I've talked to you about your stuff before, and I just want to let you know how much I enjoy your recordings. I have them all on my iPod, and I listen to them often. This may be my favorite of yours (even though its not your song). I LOVE your voice. It goes with your music so well.

Damn, I wish I could see you live.

BTW, what tuning is this in?

And the guitars sound very good. :)

thanks alot, I play this song in CGDGBD tuning and its a really easy song, I can email you the tab if you want. you should really check out http://www.jeffreyfoucault.com/music.html , he's the one that wrote this song and his album is amazing.

Im glad the guitar sounds good, because Im debating getting the same electronics system as him, either that or a sunrise pickup.

great to see you around these parts j!

I have never heard of the song before. Yeah, the acoustic with the electric is twippy. Ah, the burning, brings back visions (that prolly sounds weird).

your voice has age, nice. this is the kind of song I want to hear on a long road trip - must be the momentum.

nice choice. If I was in your hood I definetly would check y'all out. thanks for posting it up!

thanks everyone, heres an original of mine from the same show. My friend Josh added another guitar part and some vocal harmony that I think make it much better than the original way I had it. see what you think-
