Favorite Guitar

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Favorite Guitar

Unread post by Ranting Thespian » Sun Aug 01, 2004 2:55 am

What is everyone's favorite guitar that Dave has used, excluding his Martins and his Taylors and his Chet (since I believe everyone would say those, and Dave has used many more guitars than those)
Can't think of them? They are on the site under Dave's Gear section.

I personaly like his old Yamaha Country Jumbo. It has a very nice warm sound, looks great with that flower thing on the bottom, and is a fucking God to Yamaha guitars of today.
Yes, I am in a box

Ranting Thespian said besides Martin, Taylor AND the Chet...although I would say that too. Hmmmm, besides those, that's tough. I'd have to say the Lakewood M-32. Why? Listen to the Luther College album. That guitar sounds pretty damn good.

either his lakewood or his ovation.. not because ovations are good, just because that's the sound i enjoy the most.. it brings you back to the early 90s when they first started out

I've always liked the DM3MD the most.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

I don't see the complain with Ovations. I like them just fine. I don't own one, but I'd play it if I had it.
Stay with me, safe and ignorant.
