Sounds Great! Good work.... I have trouble singing this song because the lyrics make me blush.
Your transitions into your falsetto are really smooth, keep using that part of your voice... I'm sure you've noticed that it becomes hard to sing like that if you don't do it for a while.
I also like the tempo you play it at.... whether it's the same as Dave or not... it really suits the song.
Keep posting your work!
I look forward to the day that I can post some of my stuff and get feedback from everyone here. Especially you and Firedancer. I haven't heard everyone due to the fact that I'm still a newbie, but I can't wait to hear more. Maybe some of you out there would consider re-posting some of your older stuff for those who missed it the first time around? I'm sure I'm not the only one who would appreciate that.

solid recording man! nice job. The only thing I can nit pick about it the quality of the recording. I think you might benefit from turning the either the input level or the mic sensitivity down a bit, cause I think I heard (mind you it's really late and i'm tired, and a little drunk) a bit of clipping and distortion due to peak levels being hit. When you play like you do you might as well work on the recording quality.
Nice job.

sorry if this isnt what you wanted to hear, but your voice definitely needs some work, there were a few parts that kinda turned my stomach, when ya went real high, i just didnt blend well at all...but other than that, great job, i wish i could sing dave songs, ive been singing since 4th grade, went to All County Choir every year, had some solos here and there for choir, was in select choir, All State, and i did NYSSMA competition 2 years, but unfortunately, im a bass II, so hitting alot of those notes is close to impossible for me, even after voice lessons
great job again, just try working on a few high parts of your vocals

Hey miguel, I thought you did a good job on this one(I don't know how you're gonna match your halloween
)....I would have to say that the guitar needs a little bit of work, like I don't think it sounds good when you slide back during the intro to 4-6(it's wrong on the site), and the strumming on the second chord during the intro is a little off...as for the chorus, you can obviously play it, keeping the rhythm etc., all you would have to do would be to change the chords, but that's just a matter of preference(I actually like the 2nd string that you throw in there during the chorus)...as for the vocals, you can sing man, and you definitely put your heart in it...you did a damn good job through most of the song, but I noticed that when you get kinda loud, you slip out of tune a little bit(hence the turning of DMBfreak's stomach)...I noticed it especially at the end when you yelled...that was a great yell man, dont get me wrong, but it was out of tune......I was gonna say that I don't know if singing lessons would do you a whole lot of good as you seem to already know how to sing, it's just a matter of practice with controlling your voice, but it seems like you'll be there sooner than the rest of us...don't take my opinion too much because who knows, singing lessons might benefit you greatly(I dont know jack)...late

yes i really like your vocals too. Your good at the very intense songs, like halloween. You got that extra punch to throw in those yells. Nice work.
As for guitar, its very good. As someone else stated, the slides arent as noticable as Mr. Matthews' are. But if thats your own peronal preference than thats cool.
But if your going for the Dave sound, a little work on the slides wouldn't hurt.
but GREAT WORK!!!!
