a quick crush question
i have a quick question about crush...when dave plays this part now:
E:-----------------------------
B:-3----3----3----2------------
G:-X----0----2----2----4----5--
D:-4----4----x----x----x----x--
A:-2----2----x----x----x----x--
D:-----------2----2----3----5--
specifically the 3xx4 and 5xx5 part it seems that he has a 4 chord switch there and not two anymore...i find the 2 chord switch doesn't sound right...does anyone have the other 2 chords for this part? I hope you all under stand... the lyrics to that one section i am talking about is this "And I'll do for you"
thanks in advance

I know exactly what you're talking about. Try this, it's what I used for a while. (Should be what you're looking for)
So the two chords are 5x54 and 5x55. Remember they are both hit on upstrokes.
Code: Select all
E-------------
B-------------
G---4--5---5--
D---5--5---5--
A-------------
E--(5)---5----

he plays it like this:
the numbers after the tab are the fingers he uses. if you have the sessions at aol, you can see how he does it there
Code: Select all
E:---------------------------------
B:-3----3----3----2----------------
G:-x----0----2----2----4--5--4--5-- 2 3 2 4
D:-4----4----x----x----x--x--x--x--
A:-2----2----x----x----x--x--x--x--
D:-----------2----2----3--3--5--5-- 1 1 3 3

I know that part but I thought it was only played by timmy and/or the sax and violin.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away
