I'm really bad at explaining things like this, especially strumming. Just listen carefully, and find where every mute is, find the upstrokes, etc. Sorry I can't help you more, but maybe someone else can.JaDaRu wrote:Hey Pat....I was wondering if you can help me with the strumming for the verse of So Damn Lucky. I'm absolutely lost. Any advice would be appreciated and thanks a bunch for the video

Yeah, what I'm playing is what's on the site. It may sound different because I strummed, and picked.nate wrote:hey pat I just have a quick question on your video from "Everyday". when u are playing the chorus i was just wondering if u are following the tab on the site note for note or u just using it more less and adding ur own little interpretation to certain parts b/c i was trying to play it following the tab but maybe i'm just to slow or something but it didnt seem to correalate to ur vid. like everyone else has mentioned before me thanks for the vids they rock ... i have hello again pretty much on lock thanks to .

No, you aren't. um, palm muting is something different. it's not that kind of muting. With palm muting you can still hear the pitches. To mute the way it's done in OSW, just lay your fingers on the strings and do the strokes and get the "scratchy" sort of muting sound. Hope that helps!highasatree wrote:On One Sweet World, I'm assuming your muting the 4 strokes after the double tens with your stumming hand (palm muting). Am I correct? TIA...TREE
