My daughter is taken this singing workshop held in a church down at the oceanfront here in Virginia Beach. So I go down to pick her up this evening and what do you think I see in the large (about one block long) church parking lot???? Five custom tour busses...and yes I sure do recognize them....the boys are back in town!!! Man I can't wait till tomorrow night!!

I've walked in the football field for HS football games w/ the band so I didn't have to pay before! I'd definately walk around the busses if I were you. You shoulda went home, grabbed your guitar, went back, and jammed in the parking lot. Dave woulda' came out and played w/ you!

I have to admit it, I felt kind of ashamed of myself as to how excited I got when I saw them parked there....kind of felt like a teenie bopper groupie. But I got ahold of myself and remained cool :wink:

Actually, I was expecting it because alot of the touring bands park their busses there. Parking for multiple tour busses is hard to find down at the beach and the church lets them park there for free (donations welcome of course) as long as they are out of there for Sunday services. Last week Rod Stewarts busses were there.

Anyway, I drove reaaaaaal slow beside them but all the blinds were closed on all busses.....even across the windshields and doors. But the band was probably not there anyways because there are some high dollar hotels right on the ocean just across the street that I'm sure they are taking advantage of.

The cool thing I was thinking was that the parking lot is just a few blocks down from the Jewish Mother....a deli/bar that Dave use to play at before they got huge....you might have the imfamouse recording of him drunk as shit there on Fentons birthday playing during a break (of the Agents of Good Roots show)...and I thought maybe I should pop in there for a quick beer....that would be cool if they were in there chillin out.

Dude, everytime he comes here I go out to the bars the night before down in Sandbridge with the hopes of seeing Dave on stage doing a few songs. From what I've heard it has happened before.

Yes, the infamous 1996 Dave show w/ Agents at Jewsih Mother. he was drunk as a bitch that night. Anyway, hope to see you there tonight Taylordb. You got my cell!

My friend's fantasy is to tell Dave he couldn't play guitar because of his car accident and he had to sell his axes for $$$ because he was out of work. He feels Dave would surely part w/one of his Taylors.

You never know for sure.

You could just climb inside the toilet waste receptacle on the bus and hide out until they move again and then climb up through the toilet and bite Dave in the ass. No? Why not?
