Today I was watching one of the I Love the 90's repeats and they start talking about Lorena Bobbit chopping off her husband's dong. In the background is playing "I Did It." Seemed a fitting use for such a miserable song huh?

They didn't have any off the cuff remarks to make about DMB. I watch the show 'cause it's damn funny. I don't see them making fun of DMB and not pissing people off.

I would agree that dmb isn't the kind of band that can be made fun of without some sort of serious backlash. That's why VH1 is always calling Phish "smart music" and "innovative" and whatever.

I liked the fact that they had John Mayer on to remark on some things. He's like the voice of our generation or something!

ROTFLMAO!

Vh1 keeps it real, no doubt! Now I don't see MTV doing a storytellers like that. That 2 weeks of downloading through my 56k connection to get Storytellers of Kazaa was the best 2 weeks of my life!

yeah, they keep playing dmb songs during those shows and it's pissing me off that they're not giving them any credit. they weren't only HUGE in the 90s. jeez.

I still say I like I Did It. I really like playing it on acoustic. Everyone hates the song, well I liked it from the first time I ever heard it, and still do.
