My roomie in college went to a fraternity function somewhere on the east coast way back in 1993, and he was given a cassete tape of R2T. He brought it back and we listened to it quite a bit, but at the time DMB was totally unkown in the mid-west. I guess I didn't become a real fan until I saw them live a few years later.

That's crazy cause i had a friend back in probably 94' who had a cd of r2t and i heard one sweet world and loved it soo much i listened to just that song the whole day until i had it memorized.

I Did It.

I was on a 14 hour car ride to Kentucky. My aunt, who was traveling with us, brought Everyday. It was my turn to pick a CD, and I said to put in that one. Compared to the crap I had been listening too, it was a godsend. I bought Busted Stuff next, and then just one thing after another. Now all I need is RTT, LS, and the Recently EP, and I have it all.

as odd as it may sound, Lover Lay Down, IMO one of the most overlooked and ignored songs by DMB...

A friend of mine threw this party, and a guy there just started playing some DMB songs. I couldnt leave the spot, and asked him to play 2 extra songs - an early indication of the "encore spirit" that surrounds DMB :-D

Oh my God, another Danish DMB fan? that makes... ehmm.... a grand total of 7 fans.

Probaby WWYS. I remember borrowing the Crash CD from someone in HS, listening once and not really feeling it at all. My girlfriend in HS loved them and I was making a Mixed Tape, yeah, before burners were widely available and her favorite songs were Rhyme and Reason and Lover Lay Down.

I'm pretty sure I heard Crash when I was in 7th grade. But that was back when I hated the world and Crash was concidered pussy music. So I never got into Dave. What started to pull me in was The Space Between, but I only saw the video a few times. Then I downloaded Lie in Our Graves by random chance, and that got me hooked.
