For me that's about 2 beers and maybe a hit or two off the old pipe. Any more than that and I get sloppy as hell.

playing guitar drunk is my favorite thing to do ever. when i get to like 8 beers i start getting sloppy and usually get distracted by something like girls or a beer-related game, or peeing

I take every gif I watch (which is A LOT) with a humongous grain of salt. But I don't let that grain of salt get into my eye and blind me to whatever truth can be found in what I'm watching. He is not any worse than any other poster here, and the people who claim he is just don't know what they're talking about. The demonization has gotten ridiculously out of hand.

Same here, and I plan on never being drunk or high my whole life.DrFartbrain wrote:I have never had a drink or smoked the reefer in my life.
I hate the taste of alcohol, and the smell of pot makes me sick and gives me a headache. Also, my anti-depressants, if mixed with alcohol or pot it could be dangerous and life threatening. Then, alcoholism runs in my family.
So, I will be alcohol and marajunia free my whole life.
Yes, I am in a box

Depends on how much so. With the right amount, you can do all kinds of crazy shit becasue you feel no pain, but too much and you reflexes go to hell. I played SMTS-->ASTB-->Too Much drunk and it sounded all the better, but I drank some more and played sweet home alabama and it sounded like a constipated donkey.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

I suppose music has been regarded as it's own drug, I still very much enjoy the sounds of a slow solo near the base of the neck of the guitar, maybe with a little delay - transported I be (Yoda voice).
My poison varies, but of late it's the Jack. Jack Daniels is my cup o' courage indeed. Threre are times I've played in front of folks and I thought I might have been good, but really I was most assuredly not! Of course when I am bombed at home, well that's different, sometimes I get ideas being in a different frame of mind.
