I love them both . . . but:
DMB VS DG - DMB
DM VS DG - DG
David Gray has more power and emotion solo than Dave Matthews has. There is nothing like DMB, but for raw emotion and power from just an acoustic guitar and vocals, David Gray just soars with his songs.
I have every David Gray albums:
A Century Ends
Flesh
The EP's
Sell Sell Sell
White Ladder
Lost Songs
A New Day At Midnight
Also, here's a quote from Dave Matthews:
"David [Gray] is absolutely one of my favorite artists - beautiful in the most purest and honest way"
Also, Shine or Coming Down solo acoustic and vocals, it rips at your heart, and lets loose all of your emotional energy.

i saw david grey last year in pittsburgh, second row. if him and dave did do somethign i think only good could come from it
