Copy Strats, Teles, Les Pauls, etc

Today on my way home from Cleveland, I stopped at 2 pawn shops and 2 music stores just browsing to see if they had any good electrics. After the pawn shops and one music stor, I noticed only one name brand (major brand) guitar and it was a Fender Telecoustic! Cool looking, but terrible condition. The last stop was a music store. All they had was fake strats teles and les pauls. I decided to try them and they didn't sound half bad. I was actually kinda impressed w/ the Strat rip-off for $149. Better than a Squire! They were Johnson or something. I didn't realize how copied these guitar designs were copied.

My first guitar was a Silvertone SS11. Pretty much a complete rip off of a Strat.
