12- String

Unread post by tjmac66pc » Fri Jul 16, 2004 12:26 pm

Curious as to if anyone owns a 12-string on these boards??? If so, what kind and how do you like it...

I went to guitar center on wednesday and of course spent about an hour in the 'expensive acoustic section' just jamming away and i came across a Taylor 12-string...ripped out a little JTR and grey street and was amazed with how full the sound is..

anyway i'm just curious...cuz when i get rich some day, i'm getting a 12 string...so i want to know what people's thoughts/experiences are like on them... thanks

Norman B20-12. Amazing 12, especially considering it retails for under $600 Can. Excellent tone and a very crisp sound and, unlie most other "cheap" 12's I tried, it doesn't kill your fingers.
