Well ovations aren't well made guitars in the first place.. and they can have opinions, so can you. If you don't agree with their opinion, then keep it to yourself. we've had too many discussions(or arguements from different standpoints) on these veiws. Just keep yours thoughts like ^^ that one to yourself. nobody here feels like getting into arguements

what can i say ive played allot of fenders, hated them all, i think the only good ones are vintage, like 70's at the latest. ovation and aplause, they are cheap guitars... afterall the back is made of frigin plastic, the sound holes arent near the strings. So when the notes finaly get inside the guitar that stupid plastic crap ruins the otherwise good sound, and they are very quite. Entirely built for being plugged up, and looking "cool"

I'm not looking for any type of arguement, i'm just sick of coming here and seeing threads where people are arguing over which guitar is better and shit. It's annoying and nobody wants to sift through those kind of threads.

Total bull.....I own a mid-depth ovation elite special 1778 and it has just as much depth as some Martin Guitars I have played. But you won't find that depth in a shallow Bowl.

I hate the way ovations feel when you play sitting down. They want to slide out of your lap all the time. I don't want to play a guitar that doesn't like to sit in my lap. they do sound good tohugh, but i wouldn't buy one.

i know the elites are pretty good, but as a brand in general, id stay away, they are stage guitars, not writing guitars, or fun playing guitars.
