I just bought a new Alvarez CY118, and i got it on a mega sale. bought it for 889, and the list was 1100, so suck it!

How does that thing sound? I know you obviously like it but do have any specifics? My main problem with classicals is you have to spend a lot to get something that sustains nicely. I wouldn't be willing to drop more than a grand on it though. I'm saving the big bucks for a new steel string.

it sustains quite nicely, and i was willing to drop almost a grand because i've wanted one, and i have to have one for school next year
