ovation guitars

Unread post by lovemonkeymc » Tue Jul 13, 2004 8:06 pm

if you're looking for a mid-range acou/elec guitar, then i would recommend the Ovation Celebrity Deluxe CS257, it's got great sound plugged in or not, and a very unique look about it.

i totally understand from a dmb fan's pov, the ovation doesn't have the bass that most martins and such do.

Some stuff sounds good on a "good" Ovation.

Stuff like BNL for example.

ovations were made to be plugged in. they are not sit down, unplugged guitars.

a few of my friends have them... 2 of them being a couple of the best guitarists i know, one of them not that good.

the rhythm guitarist whos good hates his. it always cuts in and out. its just not that good of a guitar.

the lead guitarist whos good likes his... or liked it before he got his breedlove. it was a special edition. but its got a crack now.

id never buy one.

ever.
