ok dudes...I got one for ya...well take a listen...I listened to it, and I was thinking maybe I overdid it with the muting, but it's cool on the other hand I think

....I kinda mumbled throughout the whole song as I have no idea what the lyrics are...I cant understand a word he says in the bootlegs...its crazy, so, get crazy with it...later...

Great cover as always, but you need to speak up sonny!

Very nice choice for a cover...becoming one of my favorite songs....i think you may be right about the muting or slapping or whatever...dave seems to play it more smoothly, but you sound good...i really can't hear your voice hardly at all, almost just sounds like an instrumental.
I can't believe that we would lie in our graves wondering if we had spent our living days well, and I can't believe that we would lie in our graves dreaming of things that we might have been...

First off......
Those are the lyrics for Captain.....not Crazy. Relatively the same music for both songs but definately not the same lyrics.
Secondly....
Guitar sounds awesome Jason!! Sweet work! Peace.

Here are the Crazy lyrics I use for the song.
"Crazy"
Crazy as I may
Make my way through this world
its for no one but me to say
What direction I should turn in
Cause I am the captain of this ship
Eyes eyelids and kissing lips
The same as it was and is
For everyone else I see around here
Roll me back again
Its my play
The Kings men come again
The same thing over all of these times for me
I play and lie too
Why should I
Open my mind so I can come lie
With your mind
I don't think why and I won't do it
Why shouldn't I get high like mine
And keep my mind on my own thing
You can;t come inside unless your invited
You give the bone away
You give and you say love why
You give and you play time will live on
You give take me over please its not for me
So I step left, left to right
if thats what helps me fly my kite
And I walk backwards if I might tonight
Just to make me feel like I can do it
No its not for you
Cause I am the captain of this ship
You give women you won;t go back again
You give and play no I
You give and still I won am I wondered
You give more than
Say you do but one
Please let me be
I'll let you to after all

hey thanks oldman...do you happen to know what version/date those lyrics are?...I have heard him sing different lyrics about every single time I have heard the song...as for the singing, I wanted it to be just guitar, but I mumbled so I wouldnt lose my place in the song...but now I'll learn the lyrics and sing it next time

i love that song so much you did a great job with it who cares if you can sing or not man sing anyway. just think about all them people that you hear on the radio that can't sing all that great its just they found the sound to go with there voice that works thats all you got to do.

i love it that more people are thinking like this...

I can't believe that we would lie in our graves wondering if we had spent our living days well, and I can't believe that we would lie in our graves dreaming of things that we might have been...

I think I get what you are saying, and thanks for the encouragement...a little puncuation would help me have a better full conceptual idea of what you are trying to say though..

Sorry I do not use crap like that until I have to. what I meant was sing and play for yourself, and do not worry about what other people think about your voice or the guitar playing. if your having fun then thats all that counts.
