jimi thing

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

is the chorus for jimi thing at DMBtabs.com correct? it seems as if it's missing a note.

I'm pretty sure it's right, what makes you think that this place is ever wrong? :)

The verse isn't correct. Either is Granny.

Why doesn't he change them if they're wrong? Someone should tell him...

He's probably busy like a one-legged man at an ass-kicking contest.

Working on that instructional vid ... Which by the way, I think he should ask Pat to contribute to :)

And Ritz Bitz :)

He's very very busy, but if things aren't brought to his attention than he doesn't know to fix them (i don't know if this has been brought up). Any tab that is on the site is straight from a video of David John Matthews playing it exactly as it is tabbed on the site. However, he does change what he plays now and then.

Not all of them.

And...it's not like we have a close up shot of his hand throughout the entire song. You can still be wrong even when tabbing from a video. And the verse isn't 100%. He has always rung the E and A strings along with th hammers. Also, the extra 9 was always there too. You also ring the A with the A chord and the hammer on. I'm not sure why Kanter doesn't always include open strings.
