dude if your thinking about electric amps get a lin 6, they are awesome, great amps, 10 times better than fender and a line 6 spider 2, will by like 300 or 400

no solid state amp is better than a tube amp, just so you know...

fender twin reverb is nearly unbeatable in my opinion

a good idea is to check your local pawn shops, they usually have amps at a very good price, i got my fender stage 112se for 150 dollars at my pawn shop, and i haven't a problem with it, sounds great, and has plenty of volume.

we should really just put a warning when you sign up that shane isn't going to like anything having to do with martin or fender. I have a martin coaster, shane probably thinks it gets too soaked with the condensation from the soda you set on it.

i considered getting that.... i didnt like it.. knew that after the first time i played it. it sure is loud for a 15 watt tube amp though.

Well, I am speaking from playing an Electric through it. I have something different that is made in WI, and my dad had someone send it to him to test it out, and they never contacted hin again. It's called a Soundboard, and is basicly a speaker with a huge vibrating spruce board. It's awesome, it sounds like a huge guitar.

Now, the blues junior, I use for electrics.

But, I am curious, why didn't you like it?

How would that compare to something like a Dyna Touch series Fender for the same price...I'm looking!

it's all subjective...just so you know, whatever sound you like better is what it better to you.

It's cleaner. It has no gain control, and is a tube amp. It has no gain control because it isn't mean for shreding (but you can do it with a little trick, though, and it sounds fine shredding). It's meant for a clean clear electric sound. I really love the sound, actualy.

i was using my Godin through it... i dont know if you thought i was using an acoustic through it or something.

but anyway, it just wasnt my taste... i couldnt find settings i liked... the thing i love with my Traynor is that the first time i played one i just turned it on and it sounded good. ive found the exact settings i want for what songs and stuff like that.
