Why not Minnesota?

This isn't just for DMB, but most bands seem to skip over MN while touring. Are there any theories about this?

stuff goes to wisconsin, dave hits wisconsin, im in friggin alabama, its like nothing, the biggest thing thats ever come to my town as far as music, is kid rock... and basically im not too hot on kid rock, infact it was the first concert in 4 years when smashmouth was here.

yeah but alp valley is still like 500 bajillion hours away from me

its on the exact opposite side of the state

ahhhh see i didnt know what area you were, madison is the only city i know of, only because my friend kenny is from there and is there for the summer (thank god)

There could be lots of reasons from not being able to sell out show to not having the right size venue for a big act to come. I don't know I don't live there. You might just have to suck it up and get your friends together and take road trips! its more fun seeing your fav. band in a city that you've never been to before anyways.

Because Karma is paying back my brother. He has an account at the warehouse, but I paid half of it, so when alpine comes around, I get 2 tickets. But, he gets tons of tickets (I can't get a warehouse membership because I don't have a credit card). But, despite him getting all these other shows (he isn't that huge of a dmb fan, and doesn't respect them like I do), he gives me the worst tickets of the 4. He gets all these great seats at other shows, yet he refuses to give me the better tickets to Alpine. ONE SHOW!!!! He goes to college in the Twin Cities. So, they don't play there often to pay him back to how he treats me. One time, he came home after such a long time, and I was looking forward, for the first time, to being with him. When he got here, he ignored me, and didn't do anything with be, except, even though I rented it just because he was coming, playing 2 games of mario kart.
