Great stuff, Stefan is always good to WBCN. I've read some posts by people on nancies.org that give Stefan a lot of shit about this most recent interview from the second night of the Mansfield shows and I think that it's unjustified. Some have gone as far as to suggest he quit the band!

He doesn't say anything negative about the band at all. These guys are professionals, they may NOT be the best of friends off stage but on stage they really are amazing musicians and a hell of a lot of fun to watch and listen to.

Dre as a producer? Yikes - LOL! I'd like to see Daniel Lanois produce a DMB album alright though.

The insight into how the band creates their setlists was interesting.

How did Dave and Dr. Dre get hooked up anyways? I see a great Dave story coming for a Storytellers that VH1 desperately needs to redo!

Dave has said that with Stefan, they have the most arguments, but nothing bad, just disagrements. But, they are great off the music. They love to go golfing together, yeah, Stefan and Dave do it between shows to relax. They go out and play golf! .

Everyone loves everyone. Dave has expressed how he misses the band when they aren't touring, and can't have as much free time with the rest (all of them) off the tour.

They are all good friends, and they don't bitch. If they have a disagreement, they sort it out. Who knows, maybe Dave and Stefan settles their differences by who sucks the least when they are golfing . LOL. You even see Dave golfing, and I think it's stefan in the golf cart in the back laying down, on the Gorge DVD.

LeRoi and Dave would argue to all hours of the night at bars before the band, but did it willingly, as a debate lol. Boyd is always the kewl guy to talk to, and Carter is the well around nice father of the group. I love these guys, they have been around for more years than the beatles did, and they are good friends still. (but of course, the beatles were cramped together 24/7 all the time, havint to churn out song after song, and couldn't hear themselves play live because of the screaming, which is why they stopped touring, because the audience just wanted to scream, not listen).


Damn, I love these guys . I think they are closer than the guys of Phish. I bet they will be around longer than them.
