Well, I finally got off my lazy butt, went out and got some strings. And man they sound great! They're the D'Addario EXP Lights, and oh man, oh man! Its such a diff from the stock strings, I can't believe it!
Haha, just thought ya'll should know. If none of you have tried those strings, I'll keep ya posted on how they work out. But as of now they sound pretty damn good.

yeah i like the EXP 17's, but they are no where near as good as vinci strings, that sell medium and lights if you ever see them (kinda rare) get them

I love the EXPs as well, unfortunately my local guitar shop doesn't carry em, so I'm kinda stuck with Elixers. Oh well.

EXP's are OK, but they dont hold their tune very well, and lose their strength as well. Vinci's stay in tune over a week, and i changed them once a month but they could go longer. Plus its like playing on velvet, without all the coating elixers are covered in.

sorry you have to be stuck with nice strings, thats just too bad. i hate d'addarios, they stink

I use vinci's also and I like them just fine but I don't think they last longer than coated strings. They aren't hard to find either, you can order them off of

those arent the vincis i use,different package, those list for like $10 the ones i buy cost $15.
