Well, if my mind serves me correctly, on any set of strings the B is a plain string, and the Elixirs are no exception. There is no difference between a plain Elixir string and a plain (insert other brand) string. Just go spend 50c or whatever on a new B in the right gauge and voila, you're back in action. Make sure to keep a few spare high E's and B's around, because it's not always easy to change a whole set during a show. I've broken 3 high E's in one show before... pretty funny stuff.

10's are pretty light. I use 13's - D'addario mediums. gotta strum pretty hard to break them and plus they sound better.
good, and you?

i cant use mediums on my 12 string. dude says the tension would be "disastorous" for it.
