Hey whats your favoroite version of halloween mine is "the gorge" even though it doesn't have voilin and sax in it. (where did boyd and leroi go to anyways :?: ) ok well theres a poll

luther college lacks the solid penetrating bass that makes halloween halloween in my opinion. i have to say gorge, though btcs is fucking close

The few seconds of silence after carters drum solo and before the start of halloween are the musical equivelent of those few seconds before you blow your load. it is simply and easily, without question the best halloween released.

I have to say Recently. Carter shines on that version so much. I mean L@LC is good for a mellower intimate Halloween, but there is no Carter. Carter makes Halloween how it is. You may think of Dave's screaming, but Carter drives the song to the full intensity.

i'd say that none of those hold up to the one from MTV's Ten spot.

Dave went all out on that one and i don't think he can ever top it.

i like the Warehouse vol 3 version. the keyboard makes it more intense


but i do agree with tictacs about the blow your load part after the solo. especially if i were there, the anticipation would be more than i could take
