Wow, I saw this on the boards and overlooked it for like the past week cuz I figured BEF wasnt really a song that could stand out or be worth listening to cuz its kinda basic but this is really tight. The marimba or whatever the hell sounds so cool, are those hard to play or is that guy a badass?

well......the marimba player on the recording is a piano player first, percussionist second....and a marimba is set up exactly like a piano with big wooden keys.....He's an incredible pianist, and just as proficient on the marimba. This was the second time he had played this tune. So all the improv your hearing came out of him basically for the first time. He's pretty much a bad ass.....

gosh I love the marimbas...they just put you at ease and make you feel like going to the bahamas and chillin :lol: seriously though, mad props to your buddy :wink:
