Unread post by Rweden36 » Sun Jun 27, 2004 11:38 pm

Hey I was just doing a search on yahoo for a Yamaha Country Jumbo CJ-818SB, the one dave used along time ago and the search only brought up another guitar site about dave, and I went to the Yamaha website and couldn't find it. So I was wondering if anybody knew if got discontinued or something, any help would be apprecaited, thanks

I have one of those, my Dad bought it a long time ago, got a sweet deal on it, like 300 bucks. I have yet to see another country jumbo like this one, the new Yamaha's CJ's are crap compared to this one :P.

But yeah I think they discontinued it...

w00t for rosewood, two back peice back, solid spurce top country jumbo guitar!

Yeah. Dave's Yamaha is pretty old. It's back when they were quality, not quanity. I bet if you get a close look it has scratches and dents around the soundboard.

Don't trust any new Yamaha guitars.

Amen to that ^

They had one on ebay a few weeks ago. Keeps your eyes peeled. That is a great guitar.
