I want to play this a lot. What is the best way to play this solo? 'Cause this sounds terrible to me.
Code: Select all
E-0--1---3---5---5---3----------------0--1--3---5---5--3\-------------------
B-1--3---5---5---5---4---3------------1--3--5---5---5--3\-------------------
G-0--2---4---5---5---4---4------------0--2--4---5---5--4\-------------------
D------------------------5--------------------------------------------------
A---------------------------------------------------------------------------
E---------------------------------------------------------------------------
And so does this.
Code: Select all
e-----3-----5-----7-------8-----12-------7------
B-----5-----6-----8-------10----13--12---8------
G-----4-----5-----7-------9-----12--12---7------
D-----5-----7-----9-------10----14--12---9------
A-----3-----5-----7-------8-----12--10---10-----
E------------------------------------------------

shit, i've been trying to play that song solo for about a year now, i've messed with at least 4 different tunings and i've concluded that i don't think it can be done solo -- there's just so much going on in that song...but, if you or anyone else has an idea, please do tell

I play it C-F-G. It sounds alright. Play an open C and then the half barre F and then slide down to G. It sounds alright.

I take every gif I watch (which is A LOT) with a humongous grain of salt. But I don't let that grain of salt get into my eye and blind me to whatever truth can be found in what I'm watching. He is not any worse than any other poster here, and the people who claim he is just don't know what they're talking about. The demonization has gotten ridiculously out of hand.
