sounds like bone might be best for taylors. dunno what's the difference between regular and vintage. you can probably do a search on the taylor forum and find more info and opinions.

"uh well yea we have a guy that comes in once a week but he does more repair work then stuff like that and we don't know what he charges or if he even does pickups"
Kind of scares me to give him a $1400 guitar to cut up...
