I remember when he played "Drive In, Drive Out" he something similar to "I'll create a new God and have a tea party". I'm, PRETTY sure that's what he said... I'm not sure.
This was my first DMB concert. Wow. I used to be a huge fan, and I don't know how it's possible for me to be more of one now, but I am. It was great when he walked off-stage the first time. I don't think I've ever seen more adoration for one person in my life. The crowd wanted him back.. and knew that he WAS coming back to do his traditional two closing songs.. but they screamed and chanted anyway.
Needless to say, I'm going back next year.

I'll confirm it was something similar.
How awesome was the Lap Steel intro. I want to say it was a bigger highlight to me than the new songs, which I am mostly enamored with. I hope that thing is available online soon.

Yea thats it. He said that exact same line at MSG 12-21-2002.
