Stefan solos in a song!!!!!!!

Unread post by Bartender2424 » Fri Jun 18, 2004 11:46 am

Sugar Will is by far the best of the new songs. Stefan gets an intro, butch sounds phenomenal, stefan gets a lil solo slot at the end, and leroi jams a bit. IMO, this song has great potential to be the next Seek Up or Two Step. But is it just me or is this song totally out of Daves usually entourage. Its sorta spacy, I feel like Im floating on a cloud when I listen to it. Cant wait to hear it evolve into the Jam song I think its gonna be.

Yea Stefan, go BOI!!

Do you guys agree that it has potential to be the next Two Step or Seek Up (aka 10-15min jam song)?

I know any song has potential, but most of DMBs songs already have their place, this 4 new ones done. Out of all of tem I believe that Sugar Will has potential to be a jam song. Thats all :P lol

I think Joyride has the largest appeal, while still I agree that Sugar Will could be a jamathon. The syncopated beat kicked on the violin has me in awe of boyd.

your avatar is so cruel but at the same time fucking hilarious

But yea, I love Joyride. I love the breakdown where he keeps repeating joyride and it sounds kind of gloomy. Its different something you usually dont hear in a DMB song. I just love Sugar Will because its so different from everything hes ever played. Im looking foward to the new album and Im equally as eager to see if hell bust out any new songs :)

These new songs are tight. Very different for DMB for sure.
