Lie In Our Graves Cover

Unread post by DMB=ice » Wed Mar 26, 2003 4:13 pm

This is the first time I've ever recorded my voice so bear with it. Theres a couple of glitches in the recording due to stupid mistakes by me. Anyway tell me what you guys think. Thanks.

Good cover :)
That is one of my favorite DMB songs, and you dont here it covered that much. but the effect on the voice is a little too heavy.

guitar sounds good, but there is way to much effect on the voice......love the tim fills..........nice work with those....the jam sounds incredible...overall good, and recording the voice can be a difficult task at first......just keep practicing.....sounds good.

Yeah, those effects were definately not supposed to be there so this should be better (depending if my voice is any good or not :) ).

yo....the guitar work was great! I have to admit the voice scared the shit out of me at first though...not that it was bad, just that its so loud...the vocals were a little off-key from time to time...I would take another listen to how dave sings it and varies the pitch and the vocals will come out better...the rhythm guitar work sounded like mine  ...that's gotta tell you something(j/k)

good job though brotha! lets hear another!

The guitar work was very, very good. The only thing I noticed there was that you sped up a lot at the end. Start at the beginning and seek to the end to see what Im talking about. I really liked the lead track - great job on that.

As far as the vocs go, there was some jerking around (try a little softer at times maybe - difficult to describe) but they were pretty good on the whole. Nice job.
