"Lie In Our Graves" Cover

Unread post by billywestom » Sat Mar 29, 2003 2:01 am

I don't know if the contest is still on, but here is my cover anyway. I really like how this one turned out, except for the voice. But I don't really think that is why this song was suggested. Anyway, lots of solos, riffs, effects, other stuff...Enjoy, and tell me what you think. Thanks...

I can't believe that we would lie in our graves wondering if we had spent our living days well, and I can't believe that we would lie in our graves dreaming of things that we might have been...

Billy.....very nice guitar........there is quite a bit of effect, which I guess is up to personal taste.....it was a little bit much for me. The guitar was however very clean in the way you played it. I might bring down guitar 2 slightly in the mix....again, a personal taste issue. The singing however was basically off key for the entire song......I just dosen't sound like your enjoying yourself when you sing......I would say that is the only issue you need to deal with.....otherwise it sounds great.......

nice work.
