The DMB Song that has touched YOU the most...

Unread post by Katelyn » Wed Jun 16, 2004 1:56 pm

For me, Lie In Our Graves would probably be the most touching. I mean, for me there are a lot of his songs that hold personal value to me. But for some reason, LIOG touches me. The beginning makes me think of being younger... even though, I'm only almost 16. His voice and the guitar sound so lighthearted and cheerful. But the lyrics, at the same time the music sounds happy, are bittersweet. "I can't believe that we would lie in our graves, dreaming of things, that we might've been." Well, I might post again later. But for now....

I agree, TurnItToLove. Sorry, I don't know your real name. "Crush" is an amazing song. It's very romantic and the video is DMB's best video. Besides Crush, I think "Crash Into Me" is the most romantic song Dave has written... even though, it's not really about mushy lovey dovey stuff.

Katie, when ya click, just click once...Crush rocks, But I just thought of the greatest.....Cry Freedom, It's hard to explain what a song is about but what it means to me is that you shouldn't wait to do what you want to do because you might not have time to do it later.....I'm not sure how I got that but yea...I feel like I'm writin an essay... >.< 8)

There actually quite I few songs that when I here, its like a punch in the face. Of course its a good punch in the fave. First off, Two Step. I have told this story before so I will just give the run down. My teacher had breast cancer. me and here were really tight. We would joke around a lot. She was a big DMB fan and she told me Two Step would help her. During a little concer thtat we played for the school, we played two step for her and we were lucky enough for her to watch. Some Devil also gets me. I jsut thiunk about me Dad. Though he is not dead or anything, It just makes me think about him. Pig is just my song. Whenever I hear it, I thing of good times. You Never Know is another. Lie in Our Graves can hit me, but only if I really pay attentiuona nd feel the solo out. All these make me think about what I am doing and just being happy. Might even strike a tear

i like hearing the words, but when i really like a song, the meaning has nothing to do with it, im all about what it sounds like...so ants marching....also stay, everyday, granny, warehouse, grace is gone, big eyed fish and kit kat jam(no words)...gig and bef more serious sounding but still
