Crash strumming pattern

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Crash strumming pattern

Unread post by webbdawg » Mon Jun 14, 2004 5:43 pm

I'm new to the guitar, and I can't seem to get the strumming pattern down for crash. I watched the video, but I have a hard time matching that up with the song. If anyone has the tabs for the strumming pattern, I'd love to seem em. Thanks in advance!

PS. First post ever. I'm new to the guitar and new here.

its just 16th notes. You hit the bass notes on 1everytime. then you have the second bass note which is hit on the and of three. Then you ad the strumming on the 16th notes starting on 2 and going until 3. when you hit the bass note on the "and" of three, you have just one down stroke on 4 and rest until the next 1.

1 e + a 2 e + a 3 e + a 4 e + a
B srum til! B strum

pretty simple.
