I listened to both covers in their entirety and heard absolutely NO cd playing the in the background whatsoever. Did anyone else who listened hear anything else going on? If the site weren't down, I'd listen to them again. And if your guitar really was off so much that it made you sing like that, which I really doubt, it should have been painfully obvious right from the beginning.

The part that wasn't in blue but instead in quotes was a mock-quote, which should have been obvious. I was just illustrating the absurdity of your allegations.

I'll also point out that never once did I say that you "instigated" anything with these coverrs. You were the one who brought up the whole "instigator" thing, and it was not I who argued against what you said, but a third party who was not involved initially. I didn't ask greg to post and agree with me. He's looking at it from a distanced perspective and managed to draw an entirely different conclusion. In fact, in every spat we've had, people end up disagreeing with the pictures you paint of the situation. That should say something to you.

anyway...I had headphones on...even if I did accidentally go back "in tune" or start out "in tune", then it was because I heard "my guitar" and not daves...it was a joke on me, and now you have turned it into an insult on other people...you are quite good, keep on sneaking around choir boy...

no jason i am not putting words in your mouth. that's why i left what you actually said in the blue quote area and exaggerated the hell out of the situation in the part below. that's also why i explained that it was a mock-quote. putting words into someone's mouth entails deception, which is quite obviously not my intent.

also would you care to explain how it is that you heard your guitar sometimes, and then not other times? and how do you explain the parts when you are not in any key at all, suggesting that you heard neither your guitar nor dave's? do you have moments of temporary hearing loss?

dude...what the fuck else do you want me to say??? thats what happened man....I'm not going to lie to a little faggot choir boy....I had headphones on...listening to dave play 41/crash live and I was playing along with my guitar trying not to hear "my guitar", at the same time trying my best to sing in key with dave...I tuned my guitar down and sang along with dave in standard tuning...sometimes I guess my guitar was louder than the song on the headphones, so i slipped out of tune.......

actually, headphones are often the devious villains behind bad singing. it is hard to sing well and in key when you cant hear yourself.
