Luther College...

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

I should have been more specific, sorry...what I was looking for mainly was songs that were written/played at THAT time. Thus, Stone, Crush, Dreaming Tree are not available. However Pig still stands(great choice), as it was written by that time, or at least a work in progress...right?

They need to release a good quality D&T Rapunzel. I have a decent version and they fuckin tear that song up.

Alright Jason, I'm gonna have to disagree. I know how you feel about SMTS, but bear with me. :)

Great song, but it wouldnt have fit the set. SMTS has a little too much "spunk" for that show. All of those songs were mellow, and the best word I could use to describe the feeling, tempo and general conditions of the night would be "surreal." WWYS was all slow, Jimi had a way mellow feel to it, two step was the quieter, powerful two step, etc.

I vote Crazy.

I would have to say a slow Maker or Metamorphisis . . . hey, you didn't say they had to be just dm or dmb songs ;) . Tim! It would work during about 4-5 songs after Stream.

(if you didn't get it, Metamorphisis is a solo Tim song, you can find it on the album, Stream).
Yes, I am in a box

Damn, now that I think about it, Crazy would have to be the one. I think it would have sounded great on that album. On the other hand, he could have turned SMTS into a more mellow version too. If you listen to the 93 versions, those are way mellow. But I hear ya, and I DID bear with you  ...but out of all the songs that night, 41 (esp the ending) was just fuckin phenomenal. Totally agree with you Mike....we need to hang out sometime killa.

too much sounds terrible mellow. I would have to say Let you Down, since they were still playing it back then. That would have been gorgeous.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away
