actually i dont think its possible for a 12 string to actually sound bad, not from my experience anyway, but theres just different levels like there always are..

right, im not saying that any 12 string sounds bad (unless its really out of tune). some stuff doesnt really sound too good on a 12er though, some stuff was born to be played on a 12 string, like Lie In Our Graves, i love the sound of it when its played on a 12er.

hehe, it seems that you and me, shane, always end up talking about 12 strings. somehow a post that we are both in end up talking about 12 strings, i just think thats funny

lol thats because 12 strings are probably both of our favorites. id never trade my 12 string in for anything unless it was another one. i was thinking about putting in some corny line right here about how much i like 12 strings but i just dont feel like i lol :lol:

haha, yeah. im thinking about eventually trading in mine for either a taylor or martin 12er. id hate to part with my current one though. i learned quite a few songs on it

ive been thinking about doing it too. gravedigger said mine sounds really close to a taylor, but it just doesnt feel the same. anyway this class is almost over, ill be back on sometime tonight.

yeah, this class im taking is cool cause we get to film and then edit it. but the unfortunate thing is that the lab section is from 8:30-12:30 on fridays. but i got to film myself playing guitar, so its not too bad

i had a friend record after the goldrush last year, but i lost contact with him and anyways, i cant record it again since i havent played it since last year, and i would need to relearn the entire song again (which is a pain). but eventually im gonna record stream for all of ya and ill post it. i can barely remember how after the goldrush goes besides the intro. it seems like so long ago that i played it. sometime in the near future im gonna post some clips of me playing.
